What is Sprint Unlimited Plus?

Sprint is now offering an unlimited free TIDAL Premium subscription to their customers with the Sprint Unlimited Plus plan starting from July 13, 2018.

What if I already have TIDAL but want to sign up for Sprint Unlimited Plus to get it for free?

If you’re currently paying with a Credit Card/PayPal:

Contact Sprint and sign up for the Sprint Unlimited Plus plan.
Once you have signed up, go to my.tidal.com and cancel your current subscription.
Go to your TIDAL app and log out, you will then be prompted to accept via the Sprint Unlimited Plus.

If you cancel your subscription and do not log out you will remain on your current TIDAL subscription until the pay period is over and then you will be prompted to accept via the Sprint Unlimited Plus.

If you’re currently paying with Apple Pay:

Cancel your subscription though your Subscriptions in the App Store Apple iTunes Cancellation & In-App Purchases
Contact Sprint Customer Service - Sprint Customer Service

If you are currently paying via your Sprint account for TIDAL:

Contact Sprint and sign up for the Sprint Unlimited Plus plan.
Your subscription via Sprint Unlimited Plus will start automatically and you will not be charged for your previous subscription plan after the end of your current billing period.

If I have an existing TIDAL account and sign up via Unlimited Plus, will I get to keep my playlists and favorites?

Yes. If you are currently paying via credit card, PayPal or Apple Pay, please cancel your current method of payment as noted above and contact TIDAL customer service to transfer your existing playlists and favorites to your new account. If you are paying via your Sprint account, your playlists and favorites will migrate automatically.

This month I already paid for TIDAL but was offered the Sprint Unlimited Plus plan. Will I get my money back?

TIDAL subscriptions are charged on a monthly basis and we are unable to offer partial subscriptions, however you won’t be charged further once you sign up for the Sprint Unlimited Plus plan.

Please make sure to cancel your current TIDAL subscription by going to my.tidal.com if you pay via Credit Card/PayPal or through Apple (Apple iTunes Cancellation & In-App Purchases).

What if I already received a 6-month trial from Sprint? Am I still eligible to get TIDAL for free?

Yes, as long as you sign up for the new Unlimited Plus plan. Once enrolled, you will be automatically converted to a complimentary TIDAL Premium subscription for the duration of your Sprint Unlimited Plus plan.

How to set up my username and password?

Sprint customers can use TIDAL on their phone without creating a username and password.

If you are interested to use TIDAL on web, desktop or via other devices (ex: integrated speakers), you will need to create your own username and password. Please click this link on how to set-up username and password. We will also prompt you to set up your own username and password after using TIDAL for the second time, but this is not mandatory.

I started using TIDAL with the Sprint Unlimited Plus plan and forgot to set my username, and now I’m logged out. Will I be able to log back in again?

Yes, just have your Sprint SIM card in the phone. If you have any issues, please contact Sprint Customer Support Sprint Customer Service.

I started using TIDAL with the Sprint Unlimited Plus, and I didn’t set a username and now I have a new phone. Will I be able to log back in? Also: what happens to the music I saved on my account? Is it lost?

No, it’s not lost as long as you have no changes with your Sprint account. If you log in and are unable to see your saved tracks and playlist, you must contact Sprint customer support (Sprint Customer Service), as it indicates that your subscription has changed.

Do I have to choose between TIDAL or Hulu when I sign up for Sprint Unlimited Plus?

No, Unlimited Plus subscribers get both TIDAL and Hulu free of charge as long as you are on the Unlimited Plus plan.

Can I use TIDAL on any device?

TIDAL will work on most smartphones, tablets and personal computers. The TIDAL platform also supports a wide range of network players including Sonos, Bluesound, Linn, Auralic, Mirage, Squeezebox, Amarra, McIntosh, Wadia, Electrocompaniet, Meridian and Lode.
