Hurts (Theo Hutchraft and Adam Anderson) hit the charts in September 2010 with the release of their debut album ‘Happiness’. Entering the UK charts at Number 4 with over 25,000 sales, they achieved the title of fastest selling new UK band of 2010 with ‘Happiness’ going on to sell over 1 million copies worldwide, including hitting Number 1 in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Luxembourg and achieving Gold or Platinum sales across seven countries.
2013 saw the release of their second album ‘Exile’, giving the band their second UK Top 10 album and achieving gold status in Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic in just 1 week. After a full summer of festival shows the band embarked on their biggest tour to date in the autumn playing arena shows across the world.
